Pacific Fire Station 23
Students develop a comprehensive architectural project based on a defined building program and site, with emphasis on the integration of programmed spaces, structural and environmental systems, life-safety requirements, wall sections, building assemblies, and sustainable design principles. The exploration of form inspired by nature is a key aspect of the design approach, encouraging biomimetic and organic spatial solutions. This advanced studio is intended for upper-level students, with the latter half of the semester focused on design development.
